Panel 1: Denver points to himself, the expression on his face an attempt at a smile and a lot of confusion. In an aside, he says, "Guitar boy?"

Panel 2: Elena is now completely relaxed, her suspicions evaporated. She leans her face in one hand, her elbows propped on the counter. "Daniel told me all about you! Dallas, right? …Dayton?"

Panel 3: Denver's smile is sheepish as he rubs at the back of his head. He answers, "More or less. It’s Denver." Elena perks up, holding up a single index finger like an 'aha' moment. "That’s right!" she says, "Denver!"

Panel 4: Denver's smile is wiped away, because he's come to process the rest of what Elena said to him. Now, with wide eyes and a slightly concerned expression, he asks, "But wait, what did Daniel say about me?"

Panel 5: Elena closes her eyes and shrugs, palms up towards the ceiling. "Who can say? You’ll have to ask him yourself."

Panel 6: Denver's mouth is smiling, but his eyes are downcast as he replies, "Ah, well. That’s the problem. I don’t think Daniel wants to talk to me."

It's the start of the month, which means it is time once again for me to come banging on the the "Vote for Keeping Time on Top Webcomics if you have a second" jar. (If you vote once every 24 hours for as many days as you can remember, that's a big help!)

It also means... I absolutely forgot to send out a newsletter of all of November's pages. Whoops! I just realized that this morning. If you're subscribed to Keeping Time that way, you'll get a double-sized newsletter at the end of this month to make up for it. (...You're also probably not reading this blog entry to begin with. Hmm.)

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you can mosey on over to the Subscribe page where I've got some ways for you to keep up with Keeping Time, like getting you to add KT to your favorite RSS reader, or by signing up for those aforementioned once-monthly Keeping Time emails where I basically just mail you every page that went live that month, haha. There's no extra goodies or no other bonuses in there; it's solely set up for folks who don't feel like clicking through to the site on a weekly basis to still stay relatively caught up with the comic. (Unfortunately, that means Newsletter folks miss out on all of this primo blog rambling. And, genuinely and more importantly, all the great reader comments! Y'all are the best!)

Anyway, we're barreling towards the end of this chapter, at which point Keeping Time will be taking a brief break over the holidays. So, just a heads up there! I'm not totally decided on whether we'll be taking a 2- or 3-week break, but I'll probably let you all know by next week.
