Page 67 of Keeping Time

Across panels one and two, Daniel closes his eyes as he plays, completely at peace in the spotlight on the stage, his fingers at home on the piano keys. The narration reads, "You know... The only time I felt like I had any courage was when I was playing the piano. It was something my parents forced me to learn…"

Panel 2: Seated at the table directly behind Denver is a group of college-aged guys, making a ruckus. Denver glances at them over his shoulder, visibility irritated. Other piano bar patrons have also turned around to frown at them. The narration continues, "...but I really grew to appreciate it."

Last update, someone in the comments asked what song Daniel was playing, and I loved getting that question!! All of you commenters are the best and I appreciate every single one of you.

Also.

UH HOLD THE PHONE, did I hear that right? Did the Keeping Time boys show up in yesterday's B-SIDE You update?

Part of a comic page from the webcomic B-SIDE You by Kaycie D. It features three panels, all colored in grayscale. Denver and Daniel from Keeping Time are making out, completely lovey-dovey and oblivious to Alden, the B-SIDE You protagonist, who stumbles onto them and leaves with a meek expression.

Oh, sorry, that sound you hear is my UNCONTAINED YELLING about this. Thanks so much to Kaycie for surprising me with my dudes! And thanks to all of you who are here checking out my comic from Kaycie's shout-out! I, myself, am a Big B-SIDE fan...

Next week will be the final two updates for Chapter 2! Then Keeping Time will be taking a brief two-week break for the holidays with guest comics airing both Tuesdays of those weeks.
