Panel 1: Denver returns to Daniel's side, holding his cigarette and smiling. He asks, "Is that all of it? Any more bags?" Daniel still hasn't moved a muscle from where he's been, and replies in flustered dialogue balloons, "Yes. Er, wait--no. I mean. That's all."

Panel 2: Daniel smiles, the act of his cheeks moving giving him little crinkles beneath his eyes. "...Thank you."

Denver and Daniel are doing an incredible job of standing in front of one another while they avoid actually looking at each other.

Panel 4: Elena suddenly whips around and raises her left hand up in farewell. "WELL," she declares, "I'm off. You two have fun."

Panel 5: Daniel brings both his hands up to hold onto the straps of his backpack as he says, "Ah, sorry Elena! Good night!" Meanwhile Denver turns to look over his shoulder to ask her, "Are you alright getting home by yourself? Want me to walk you? It's pretty late--"

it is around here that my editor, Mark Stack, told me that Elena is essentially Sebastian the Crab from the Little Mermaid here, so I drew him this

A very bad drawing of Elena in a full body crab suit, like a mascot costume, going "Kiss the boy"
