Panel 1: For the first time that night, Denver really looks at the pianist on stage. He says, more to himself than anything, "...Daniel."

Panel 2: Rorie raises an eyebrow at him as she drinks her beer. She says, "Daniel? You think so? But he lives in Seattle now, right?"

Panel 3: Denver has gotten out of his seat, and doesn't hear Rorie as she asks, "…Right? …Denver?"

Panel 4: Daniel has his eyes closed as he performs. The narration reads, "And then, sometimes..."

Panel 5: Daniel has opened his eyes and sees the figure now standing in front of him. The narration continues, "...just when you think it's gone forever..."
